Aho ewithe-woᴺgithe, ebé bthiᴺ uwibtha tamiᴺkᴴe waxé izhazhe wiwita-tᴴe Andre M Saunsoci. I am a member of the Omaha tribe of Nebraska & Iowa. I’ve been teaching language & culture for over 20 years and have worked with all age groups ranging from Early head start/Head start, pre-k - 12th grade and now at the collegiate level. 

My passion along with my abilities to teach comes from a long line of language speakers/teachers. It’s truly an honor to be able to follow in my late mother’s footsteps one grateful, powerful moment to achieve. For those of you who may not know, I’ve been a part of this institution going on 3 years. Starting off as an Adjunct instructor for Omaha language 1 & 2, then recently hired this past summer as the full time Omaha language instructor here at N.I.C.C. I look forward to many more semesters to come with many more learning experience to create & share with all of you. I say thank you for the opportunity.
